Formed by the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defense, the FSWP was originally formed as the MOD's official study into UFOs. Following its final report and public dissolution in 1951, it continued to work in secret as a sort of 'unofficial working group' which existed off the books and had an effectively non-existent, unlimited budget. The FSWP's covert chair remains unknown, but they were very good at hiding the group's expenses among normal MOD transactions. As such, much of the FSWP's actions remain unknown, even to [[Foundation for Xenological Studies|FXS]], but some of the records obtained by FXS are stamped with the FSWP logo and are dated well after the 1951 dissolution of the Party. These records primarily focus on things in Great Britain and the British Overseas Territories, and usually involve artifact discoveries.
