By devoting themselves to the Code, they prove that all Ancestors are equally important, since no matter what the ancestor they are following is, they still follow the Code. A Ri'Das is not an ascetic by design, however some particularly devoted Seekers take this approach, while others accrue wealth and equipment to aid them in their efforts.
