			When a member of the Corps leaves active duty service under any means other than dishonorable discharge, they are automatically enrolled in the Reserves. All components of the Corps have corresponding reserve groups, allowing former active-duty service members to remain as an on-demand force should the situation dictate. The reserves train one weekend a month, and then have yearly two-week training where they train alongside active-duty service members to help disseminate their knowledge among the newer troops.

			Reserve members retain their pay grade, but only receive one-quarter the normal amount, except for the two full weeks they spend training during which time they receive full pay. Should the reserves be activated by the Joint Chiefs, any reserve members called up receive full pay for the duration of their active service. Employers are forbidden from preventing reserve members from participating in weekend training, the two-week yearly training, or any summons to active duty.
