Magic Artifacts in World War III

• Ashkelon – Lance of Dragon’s End - One fragment in private possession of the UK, one fragment in the Balkans in possession of a PMC. Ten known fragments unaccounted for.
• Asi - First Blade of Brahma - One fragment in private hands in India. Two known fragments unaccounted for.
• Brahmaastra – Unknown Form of Destruction - One fragment lost in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone until 2016 when it is claimed by future SDA Agent E - unlike most Astra's, Agent E's use of Brahmaastra does not come about due to using an invocation or incantation, rather it arises from his status as a reasonably-stable Destruction who has remained sane long enough to understand the nature of Destruction spirits. Considering its status as an Astra, other instances of it can appear.
• Brutus - The Fall of Tyrants [Alternative Name: Piso’s Justice - The Changer of the Course] - Brutus's 23 fragments are in possession of Piso's Legion, and the true Brutus changes hands in 2015 during the October border skirmish between Russia and Norway when it is taken up from its previous wielder by future SDA Agent V.
• Caledfwlch - Stone-Entombed Blade of Rulers (i.e. the non-magic JolKoar Artifact one) - Kinda moot since it isn't actually a magic artifact. The Mars Caledfwlch is in the possession of Frank Henderson. The 3 in the possession of the JolKoar Empire are in the Coal Sack nebula. 5 remain unaccounted for. Maybe CwabbyCorp found one?
• Caledfwlch - <TBD Actual Magic Artifact One> - ???
• Caliburn - Precious Blade of Kingship - Two fragments in the possession of the British Royal Family.
• Carnwennan - Blade of Darkness and Shadows - One fragment in possession of the British Royal Family. The fragment that ends up in an SDA research facility unaccounted for. House Bernadotte (Swedish royal family) has their fragment. One fragment starts out in the hands of the Fifteen Suits and ends the war in the hands of Project Horn members. A second fragment is located during the war (date TBD) by Project Horn and remains in their hands. Strong possibility for more fragments to surface.
• Clarent - Heir’s Stolen Blade of Regicide - One fragment starts the war in private hands in the USA, gets commandeered by the Abraham Regime, and then loaned to (and stolen by) the NeoFrancoists in Spain who use it to assassinate the Spanish Royal Family.
• Coyote - Fang of the Trickster God (Known Variant: Amaguq) - The Running Elk brotherhood is in possession of their fragment during this era, having held it for countless generations. Amaguq is in possession of a mage community in Alaska, and gets used during an incident involving the Abraham Regime's shadow war forces attempting to attack Alaska after the state secedes.
• Crowley's Deck - Harbinger of the Æon of Horus - Crowley's Deck starts out in possession of Catalina Romano's mother, who is killed during the US attack on Gibraltar. It resurfaces in the possession of future Director Romano shortly thereafter.
• Curtana - Unharming Blade of Mercy - While never confirmed even by 2031, presumably the Curtana of the British Crown Jewels is a fragment of Curtana.
• Dansleif - Dwarven-Made Blade of Hogni - ???
• Drake’s Drum - Somethingsomething Something Something - ???
• Durendal - Unrivaled Sword of Paladins Sword - House Borboun and House Orléans each possess a fragment of Durendal
• Excalibur - Destined Blade of Victory
  • True Excalibur - obviously still MIA (since its, you know, off in Sirius).
  • Excalibur-Africa - surfaces during this era during the latter stages of the war in the hands of someone fending off the San Jose's and New York's orbital strikes on Cape Town.
  • Excalibur-Asia - sees use during Shadow War operations in Asia during early 2017.
  • Excalibur-Europe I (Scandinavia), Excalibur-Europe II (Germany), and Excalibur-Europe III (Iceland) - all see Shadow War use during the conflict.
  • Excalibur-Luna - surfaces for the first time during this conflict, in the hands of someone fending off an attack against the new ILCO headquarters.
  • Antarctica, Australia, Mars, North America, and South America do not appear, since they are not discovered until post-war.
• Fragarach - Manannan's Blade of Retaliation - Fragarach's Boston fragment changes hands multiple times during the war, starting out in the hands of Abraham Administration shadow war operatives operating in Boston and ending locked in a vault by the ESA (it would later fall under SDA control). The Irish fragment surfaced sometime in the 1400s, and sees use against the Boston fragment during the conflict over it.
• Freikugein - Devil-Forged Bullets of the Freischütz - Seemingly countless framgents of Freikugein surface during the war, often in the hands of people who have no idea what they have picked up out of the ammo depot or off the battlefield.
• Gáe Bulg – Spear of Barbaric Impalement - None in play, the only known fragment of it is not located until post-war.
• Glory of the Ten Powers - Shifting Amulet of the Family - One fragment enters the hands of the future Chief of the 1st Directorate (who would later become an Agent At Large) during 2016 (incident TBD). Seven other fragments are known but remain unaccounted for.
• Gram - Doom of Dragons - ???
• Gungnir - Wōtan's Sword-Breaking Spear - ???
• Hrunting - Monster-Slaying Blade - None in play, the only known fragment does not surface until post-war.
• Indraasta - Rain of Arrows - The pair of fragments in India are in play in this time period. Considering its status as an Astra, these aren't so much fragments as they are just temporary solidifications of power available to anyone who knows the approprate incantation or invocation.
• Joyeuse – Holy Blade of the Imperator - The Arcine Order fragment is in play, in the hands of Sister Cassandra Carmina Carandini of Servorium Domini. The other three fragments remain unaccounted for.
• Kavacha - Heavenly Armor of the King of Anga - ???
• Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi - Valorous Clouds of Heaven - While the Atsuta Shrine fragment remains in the shrine during the conflict, its rumored that a fragment surfaced during the war.
• Laevateinn - Rune-Engraved Blade - Laevateiin surfacing post-dates the war.
• Mjolnir - Rune-Emblazoned Hammer of Thor - ???
• Murgleys – Death-Bringer of Ganelon - The Arcine Order fragment is in play, in the hands of Sister Cassandra Carmina Carandini of Servorium Domini. The six other fragments are unaccounted for.
• Rhongomyniad - Somethingorother Something Something Spear - ???
• Ruyi Jingu Bang - Monkey King's Shifting Staff - ???

• Tizona - Fireball of El Campeador - While Tizona itself is truly lost to history and there are no known fragments, Florencia does use her ability to manifest it during this period.
• Tyrfing – Fiery Blade of Accuracy - Hey she had to get it SOMETIME. Maybe during the war?
• Varunastra - Formless Astra of the Truth - While no fragments are known to appear during the war, its an Astra. Considering its status as an Astra, these aren't so much fragments as they are just temporary solidifications of power available to anyone who knows the approprate incantation or invocation.
• Wynebgwrthucher - Crossed Face of Evening - ???
• Yasakani no Magatama - Jewel of Benevolence - ???
