Level 1

INDUCTION POOL

You have a pool of Induction Points equal to 4+CON Modifier at level 1. At each subsequent level you gain another 2+CON Modifier. If you lack a Constitution score, use Wisdom instead. The pool recovers fully after a normal rest period for your species. Twice a day you can recover one-half your level by resting for 10 minutes. Additionally, you can gain additional Induction Points by spending a Hero Point - roll d6s as if you were boosting a skill check, you gain a number of points equal to the boost that would have been given to a skill. Points gained in this fashion count as temporary points and go away at the end of an encounter if not used.

INDUCTION RESERVE

You have an additional reserve of Induction Points equal to double your Specialization level. A number of points equal to your specialization level are regarined after a standard rest period. If the reserve falls below 50% of maximum, you move -1 step on the condition track as a persistent condition. If this occurs during a combat encounter than the condition track movement does not apply until the end of combat. However, if you fall below 20% of your maximum the condition track movement applies immediately, regardless of if you are in combat or not.

ELEMENTAL AFFINITY

Each character has an innate alignment with a specific element chosen from Air, Earth, Electromagnetism, Fire, or Water. Techniques of this element are easier to learn and the character eventually becomes resistant to damage of this kind. Until the character gains the Secondary Nature ability they can only learn techniques of this element or techniques with no element.
