Ambereyes are functionally human from a rules perspective, with the addition of the following features: Ambereyes: You have brilliant amber irises. In and of itself amber is the rarest standard eye color among humanity, however yours go a step beyond the normal - they seemingly glow with an otherworldly radiance due to their extremely high amount of lipochrome concentrated in your iris. Unlike a 'normal' human eye, your eye color grows lighter over time (rather than darkening as is normal) as the lipochrome concentration increases. Your body also produces xanthopterin as you age, causing the amber color to shift more towards outright gold over time. Blood of the Forgotten Past: However dilute it may be, if someone has enough JolKoar genetics in them to activate the recessive genes needed to manifest the Ambereyes trait, then they also have enough to qualify as a JolKoar Pureblood for the purposes of any technology that only works in their presence. This only affects technology, and does not mean that you count as a JolKoar Pureblood for any other prerequisites. Lineage: Ambereyes are categorized by their lineage, which is defined by the progenitor of their JolKoar genetics. Typically, this will be a secret known only to the GM, however sometimes you may be informed of your lineage by the GM.
