The Five Shamans refers to a splintered bloodline of magic-users which cover the range of the six possibilites of Mentored Mage.

  • The Former Chief of the First Directorate (currently an Agent-at-Large). Mentored Mage (Nature)
  • Beastslayer Agent E - The Unknown Destroyer. Mentored Mage (Animal)
  • Beastslayer Agent L - The Sea Mother. Mentored Mage (Water)
  • Beastslayer Agent S - The Sky Goddess. Mentored Mage (Air)
  • Former Beastslayer Agent K - The Eathspeaker. Mentored Mage (Earth)

The biological connection between the five is not easily determined, as part of the bloodline's records are lost between the mid-1800s and 1920s as a result of population migration and general diaspora, however genetic testing does confirm reveal a shared lineage that seems to have splintered around the 1850s. Presumably incarnations of the five prior to that time were all direct siblings, now they are a bit more like cousins.
