Sealed Items are specially-crafted objects that contain imbued Dimensional potential. The art of creating such items is seldom taught, rarely accessible, and more often than not self-discovered.

Each seal has its own properties, and each piece of equipment has a limit as to the number of different seals it can hold. A seal cannot be removed from a weapon or armor unless said weapon or armor is destroyed and reforged.

Sealed Armor

Mass Reduction

  • Superior (Lv 7) - DC 22 - Property: Armor treated as though one category lighter (medium to light, heavy to medium). This cannot turn light armor into non-combat armor. The appropriate proficiency feat is still required. Halve the armor's weight.

Pocket Dimension

  • Minor (Lv 5) - DC 15 - Power (At-Will, full-round action): The light armor shifts to become mundane clothing. If the armor it was applied to included more than one piece (such as boots, pants, gauntlets, etc.) the garment it becomes can include additional articles. The weight of the original item changes appropriately. Both forms benefit from enhancement seals.
  • Superior (Lv 7) - DC 22 - Can be applied to medium armor.
  • Greater (Lv 12) - DC 32 - Can be applied to heavy armor.
  • Special: The secondary form is selected when creating the seal. By default this is mundane clothing, however during the Sealing process you can instead utilize a pre-existing article of clothing (including a Uniform or Non-Combat Armor).

Sealed Weapons

Armor Piercing

  • Superior (Lv 7) - DC 23 - Property: Gain a +2 circumstance bonus to attack rolls against armored targets or targets with a natural armor bonus to Reflex Defense, and attacks ignore 5 hardness and damage reduction.
  • Greater (Lv 14) - DC 34 - Property: Gain a +2 circumstance bonus to attack rolls against armored targets or targets with a natural armor bonus to Reflex Defense, and attacks ignore 10 hardness and damage reduction.
  • Epic (Lv 21) - DC 41 - Property: Gain a +2 circumstance bonus to attack rolls against armored targets or targets with a natural armor bonus to Reflex Defense, and attacks ignore all hardness and damage reduction.
  • Special: This property can only be applied to melee weapons and ammunition.

Pocket Dimension

  • Superior (Lv 7) - DC 22 - Power (At-Will, full-round action): The weapon shifts and becomes a different weapon or object chosen at the time of this seal being added. The new weapon or object must be the same size and roughly similar shape.
  • Greater (Lv 12) - DC 32 - Power (At-Will, full-round action): The weapon shifts and becomes a different weapon or object chosen at the time of this seal being added. The new weapon or object can be up to 2 size categories smaller or larger, and does not need to be a similar shape.

Elemental Current

  • Superior (Lv 9) - DC 24 - Property: This weapon can be imbued with Blade Arts - Energy Channel with elemental properties without the required mastery. The duration of the technique is increased by 5 minutes or 2 successful attacks.
  • Greater (Lv 16) - DC 36 - Property: This weapon can be imbued with Blade Arts - Energy Channel with elemental properties without the required mastery. The duration of the technique is increased by 10 minutes or 4 successful attacks. Additionally, Blade Arts - Energy Channel only costs 4 points to imbue this weapon.
  • Epic (Lv 22) - DC 43 - Property: This weapon can be imbued with Blade Arts - Energy Channel with elemental properties without the required mastery. The duration of the technique is increased by 10 minutes or 8 successful attacks. Additionally, Blade Arts - Energy Channel only costs 2 points to imbue this weapon.

Sealed Items

Assassin's Deck

This deck of 54 cards seems completely mundane but can be used as a deadly weapon in skilled hands.

  • Minor (Lv 4) - DC 15 - Property: Each card can be thrown as a knife. A thrown card has 50% chance to be destroyed.

Cannonblast Rounds

This bullet grows in size to match a human head.

  • Superior (Lv 8) - DC 25 - Property (single use, free action): 2 points. Use when firing a cannonblast round. The bullet grows in massive size and deals ballistic damage increased two die size, plus any normal modifier. This ability does not stack with techniques and effects that increase weapon size.
  • Special: Crafting this sealed item creates 5 cannonblast round of the same calibre.

Concealing Scabbard

Got a big sword that you can't nanostore for some reason? Hide it with this!

  • Minor (Lv 4) - DC 7 - Property: The sheathed bladed weapon this scabbard is made for can be concealed as though it was two size categories smaller than it really is.

Dimensional Gem

The gemstone on this piece of jewewlry grows with the otherworldy radiance of the Void.

  • Greater (Lv 15) - DC 38 - Power (3/Day): When using a Dimensional Induction technique, increase any DC to use it by 4, but half the Induction Pool cost of it.
  • Special: Crafting this requires exposing the gemstone directly to the Void, or the use of a stone already such exposed.

Dimensional Container

This pouch appears ordinary, but it is in reality a portal to a small area of the Void.

  • Superior (Lv 10) - DC 27 - Property: This pouch can hold up to 50 kg of material, but always weighs 5 kg. It is belt pouch-sized.
  • Greater (Lv 13) - DC 36 - Property: This pouch can hold up to 100 kg of material, but always weighs 10 kg. It is backpack-sized.

High-Capacity Magazine

This simple box magazine holds much more ammunition than it appears.

  • Minor (Lv 6) - DC 17 - Property: The high-capacity magazine increases the amount of ammunition the magazine it was made for by a factor of 5.
  • Superior (Lv 10) - DC 27 - Property: The high-capacity magazine increases the amount of ammunition the magazine it was made for by a factor of 10.
  • Power (both levels) (At-Will, full-round action): Load or unload 20 bullets from the magazine.
  • Special: A high-capacity magazine only fits one type of weapon.

Void Speed Seal

This object has a complex seal on it, imbued with dimensional energy which the user can channel into unthinkable velocities of movement.

  • Superior (Lv 8) - DC 20 - Power (Swift Action, Single Use): You gain a +1 Speed Rank bonus for 2 rounds.
  • Greater (Lv 15) - DC 32 - Power (Swift Action, Single Use): You gain a +2 Speed Rank bonus for 2 rounds.
  • Special: After the duration expires, you cannot use one of these again until you rest properly.

Void Strength Seal

This object has a complex seal on it, imbued with dimensional energy which the user can channel into unthinkable force.

  • Superior (Lv 8) - DC 20 - Power (Swift Action, Single Use): You gain a +1 Strength Rank bonus for 2 rounds.
  • Greater (Lv 15) - DC 32 - Power (Swift Action, Single Use): You gain a +2 Strength Rank bonus for 2 rounds.
  • Special: After the duration expires, you cannot use one of these again until you rest properly.
