Level 1
Neural Link or Gifted User
Choose one of the following two abilities:
- NEURAL LINK - You receive Wirehead Neural Interface or your species's version of that as a bonus feat, along with the appropriate gear for it (a Wirehead Neural Interface Helmet customized to you and an Interface Suit).
- GIFTED USER - If your species lacks DNI capability, you are an AI, you are simply squeamish about drilling holes in your skull, or you already have a DNI of some form, you instead gain this feature which moves you one more slot row on the Hack table for all purposes. This stacks with all other movements, including The Gift.
Multitasker
If you trade in both your standard and move actions for additional swift actions, you receive an additional swift action for a total of four swift actions in one round.
Level 3
FTL Operator
Monitoring and managing most FTL systems requires constant focus and attention, leading to it being designated to people who can spend time in VR keeping an eye on the systems or those who would rather just stare at screens. You improve the class of an FTL Drive equipped on of a craft you operate by a factor of 1 (x5 -> x4 -> x3 -> x2 -> x1 -> x.75 -> x.5 -> x.25) (cannot decrease below x.25). This is not an actual change to the class of the drive installed on the vessel, merely a performance boost that comes from expert control of the systems.
Level 5
Improved Hack Repertoire (+1)
You move another row down on the Hack Table for the purposes of determining what hack actions you have access to. You move additional rows down as you gain levels.
Pathetic Creature of Meat and Bone
As long as you are not visibly armed you gain a +5 bonus to your Deception and Persuasion checks to convince people that you are are not a threat.
Level 7
Improved Portfolio (+1)
You can have one additional readied hack action in your portfolio. This increases as you gain levels.
Level 9
At level 9 you receive one of the following abilities based on the choice you made at level 1: Innured to the Net if you chose Neural Link, or Overclock if you chose Gifted user.
Innured to the Net
You gain a +5 bonus to your Core Defense.
Overclock
You have learned that the specifications of your computer are just tested guidelines and can overclock your hardware. Treat your computer's Grade and Tech Bonus as if they were one better. You must be the primary user of a computer for it to gain this bonus, and you can only overclock one computer at a time.
Level 11
