TAAF-Standard Manufacture

"TAAF-Standard Manufacture," known in legal parlance as Terran Alliance Armed Forces Authorized Construction Template, is a specification declaring that a component has no designated manufacturer and is instead procured from whoever is the best supplier at any given time. TAAF-Standard Manufacture items are made by a wide range of manufacturers who make the item in question based on blueprints and nanoforge plans maintained and provided by the Terran Alliance Armed Forces Resource Acquisition command of Administration.
